Rushcliffe refuses Planning Permission
GR Redford 1st August 2017

The 'linked' applications, Change of Use from agricultural land to public open space (17/00970/COU) and the Outline Planning Application for up to 90 dwellings (17/00969/OUT) have been refused by Rushcliffe Borough Council. The reasons for refusal have not yet been published. The decision notice and reasons for refusual can be download here for application reference 17/0069/OUT and here for the application reference 17/00970/COU. The full Report on each of the applications can be viewed on the Rushcliffe Borough Planning website.

Is this the end of the Application? I'm afraid not, the applicants have six months to lodge an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate. Hopefully, the applicants will take note of the level of local opposition and will not proceed with an appeal, only time will tell.
